How to take a look at the future of football uniforms and how to wear them
The NFL has announced it’s expanding its partnership with textile company David Textiles Inc., which will allow players to wear their own apparel from a third-party brand.
The league will be able to buy the uniforms for about $2 million per season and can customize them for players, according to a statement from the league.
The company will work closely with NFL players and their coaches, with David Textile providing the materials for their uniforms.
Players can choose from five different uniforms, according the statement.
Each uniform is tailored to their specific play style.
The first uniform will be worn during the NFL’s Week 8 regular season opener at the Georgia Dome.
